This is a Permanent, Salaried vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

As a Service Team Leader, you'll play a key role in leading and developing our accommodation service, supporting people affected by domestic abuse to rebuild their lives in safe, supportive environments. Working closely with the Service Manager, you'll oversee day-to-day operations, lead a dedicated team, champion high-quality customer support, and ensure our accommodation services remain safe, compliant, and person-centred.

 

What you'll do

  • Lead, motivate and support a team to deliver outstanding, person-centred services that achieve positive outcomes for customers.
  • Oversee the daily operation of accommodation services, ensuring quality standards, performance targets and customer satisfaction are met.
  • Build strong partnerships with commissioners, support agencies and community organisations to enhance service delivery.
  • Drive customer engagement initiatives, using feedback to continuously improve services.
  • Support safeguarding, health and safety, housing management and compliance across accommodation properties.
  • Coach, develop and supervise team members, creating a positive and high-performing culture.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the service, ensuring it continues to meet customer and commissioning needs.

Who you are

  • An experienced people leader with a background in domestic abuse services, housing, supported accommodation or a related environment.
  • Passionate about supporting individuals and families to achieve safety, independence and positive futures.
  • Knowledgeable about safeguarding, risk management, domestic abuse and housing-related support.
  • A confident communicator who can build effective relationships with colleagues, customers and external partners.
  • Organised, resilient and able to balance competing priorities while maintaining high standards.
  • Values-driven, committed to equality, diversity and inclusion, and motivated to make a real difference in local communities.
  • Holds a full UK driving licence and can work flexibly to meet service needs.
